BLEEDS

Certain dinosaurs grant a bleed effect allowing them to either track you or wait you out until you die from bleed. Stubborn-ness can get you killed just as quickly. If you are able to rest (H) overtime your bleed effect will begin to heal shown by the + symbol.

Note: If you do not sit down and heal your bleed it will kill you even if your Heart (HP) is full. Treat it like a second HP Bar. Slowly your vision will darken until you are dead.

Recent data gathered shows that Stamina, Food, & Water affects bleed damage heavily. The lower your Stamina, Food & Water are the more increased damage you will take from bleeds. No matter if you are walking, running, or standing still.

For Example | Just Walking after given a Bleed
Full Stamina/Food/Water with Bleed deals 20% Bleed Damage
No Stamina/Food/Water with Bleed deals 50% Bleed Damage

How to deal with Bleed
Keep Stamina High (as well as food and water before getting into a fight). Avoid using unnecessary attacks be conservative.

Standing still is better than running around when taking bleed damage vs walking around. It will deal less damage while standing still.

TIP: Stamina, Food, & Water control how LONG you bleed for.

DINOSAUR COLORATION LOSS

If you ever get a Omni to bleed pay attention to their skin tone. When a Omni is bleeding severely their skin begins to pale. On the left is a Healthy Omni and on the Right a Utah with bleed applied. Other dinosaurs may also have this feature pay attention and see what differences there are.

FRACTURES

Fractures can limit you in certain aspects of the game such as movement speed, mobility, attacks, and visuals. You can heal a fracture faster by resting (H) and having a better diet.

Tip: Ptera can still fly with a body and head fracture but not a leg fracture

Tip 2: Some dinosaurs can survive small cliff falls without breaking a bone. Other cliffs are instant deaths. Be careful

Update 6.5: Only heals fractures when resting.
