Sanctuaries
As a young dinosaur when you spawn in you can locate nearby Sanctuaries by smelling around and looking for the tree symbols once you find them run in that direction. Just be careful not to run off a cliff as this shows you the most direct route no matter how dangerous.
The closer you are to the sanctuary the more filled in the trees will become. Once the trees spread out and are on the left and right side of your compass fully you have entered a sanctuary zone.
Eating
Sanctuaries are great for young dinosaurs to grow safely. Be aware both herbivores and carnivores share the area.
To find food: Carnivores will follow the Carbs Icon (3 Dots) and Herbivores will follow a new symbol (three arrows pointed in different directions like an upside down Y) Or look for a Red Mushroom. It will give you all 3 nutrients.
Protection
The dense and awkward trees makes navigating through sanctuaries as a larger dinosaur harder.
Within the sanctuary there are swarms of bees. Peaceful to the young dinosaurs but hostile to anything it deems too large or too old for the area.
