"Dilophosaurus is a small, lightly built predator known for its speed and ability to inflict hallucinations. It lacks the raw strength of larger hunters but compensates by striking quickly and withdrawing, wearing prey down over time. Its agility makes it well suited for ambushes and survival through mobility rather than head-on confrontation."

Hallucinations can be tracked by using the Sniffing key. Purple means envenomated and allows you to activate a new attack with right click. Victims of the venom will have: Hallucinations, Limited Vision, Copies of Dilo will spawn and attack (only you can see and interact with them), Copies will disappear when you hit them or they hit you. Tip: Head attacks seem to be most effective in stacking Hallucinations and only stack the Hallucinations yourself other Dilo Hallcinations won't stack together.
Upcoming Changes to the Game [Dev Blog #51] New environmental and attack sounds for dilophosaurus and troodon, their envenomation mechanic has also received their suite of sounds, including ambient vocals from hallucinations. This gives the effect a whole new intensity as the player now feels like they’re constantly surrounded, even when they’re not. This has been very enjoyable to witness in playtesting, as people are now much more paranoid than before.
